Pages in Your Hand

Hello from northern Alberta! I'm taking time away from weeding the potato rows to inform you that we have a brand new single out called “Pages in Your Hand.” The link to stream it on various platforms is on the home page (click the image of the cover or the “Stream Now” button). It's a song I wrote with Thomm Jutz about letter-writing, largely inspired by letters I wrote to my most consistent pen pal through the pandemic, my sister Manya, who I'm sad to say passed away in 2022. The song is available to stream in Dolby Atmos immersive (or “spatial”) audio on Apple Music, TIDAL, and Amazon. If you haven't listened to music this way before, I highly recommend the experience. It's really the opposite of the compressed “wall of sound” we've come to expect in current music releases. The instruments are clear, natural, and distinct, as are the vocals, and you feel like the band is standing around you playing the song. Check it out.

We'll be performing the song live at various upcoming midwestern appearances in Missouri, Kansas and Iowa and elsewhere. “Pages in Your Hand” will also be the title track of a 6-song EP, set for release on October 6th. More on that soon!
